Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, trials, cancellations, and refunds work on SocialHype, operated by Social Hype Technologies Pvt Ltd.
1. Free trial
Eligible paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You can cancel anytime during the trial — you will not be charged, and no refund is needed.
2. Monthly plans
Monthly plans are billed in advance for the upcoming month. Once a billing cycle has started, we no refunds on monthly plans after the first billing day. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period.
3. Annual plans
Annual plans are billed in advance for twelve months. We offer a pro-rata refund on annual plans cancelled within 30 days of billing. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you can cancel renewal at any time to prevent future charges.
4. Usage-based charges — AI, email & WhatsApp
Some features are metered or pay-as-you-go on top of your plan, including AI credits, email-sending credits, and WhatsApp conversation/template charges (which the platforms price per message). These charges are consumed as you use them and are non-refundable once consumed. Any unused, pre-purchased credits follow the expiry shown at purchase. WhatsApp and similar pass-through platform fees are set by the platform, not by us.
5. Add-on services
One-time setup, onboarding, migration, or other professional-services add-ons are billed separately as described at purchase. Once the work has been delivered or substantially performed, these add-ons are non-refundable.
6. How to cancel
You can cancel from within your workspace ("Billing" → "Cancel plan") or by emailing support@socialshype.com. We will confirm cancellation in writing.
7. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Bank processing times are not controlled by us.
8. Add-ons, taxes and statutory fees
GST and any statutory fees charged on an invoice are non-refundable except where Indian law specifically requires a refund. One-time setup fees and usage-based add-ons (e.g. paid WhatsApp template traffic) are non-refundable once consumed.
9. Service interruptions
If we experience an extended service interruption attributable to us, we may at our discretion issue service credits towards future billing periods rather than cash refunds.
10. Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@socialshype.com within 30 days of the charge so we can investigate. Unresolved grievances may be escalated to our Grievance Officer (see Privacy Policy).
